Saving The Shower Head: If your shower head is not working properly, it is probably clogged with minerals. Take a plastic bag filled with white vinegar and attached it to the shower head with a rubber band. Keep this in place over night and it will be good as new in the morning. Scraping Doors: If your door is scaping the floor a quick and easy fix is to take off the hinge and put a piece of cardboard between the door and hinge before re-attaching. Scratched Disc: Toothpaste is the answer to a scratched disc. Put a small amount on your finger, rubbing it on the scratched area in a circular motion. Rinse with water and dry with a clean cloth. Loose Cabinet Knobs: For wooden knobs a dab of super glue will do the trick. Simply remove the knob, add a dollop and re-install knob. Metal knobs use a semi-permanent locker, found at any home improvement store. |

The Hazards of Over Pricing Your Property!
|
- Your property will rarely be shown if shown at all.
- Your property will not sell within the time frame you want to move.
- Your property will be used to help sell other properties.
- Your property will get stale on the market
- Even if your property does sale, it might not appraise.
- An unrealistic price discourages qualified buyers from making an offer.
- Offers that might come in will appear low, but will actually reflect the market.
- Your property may not sell at all.

Preparing Your Home For Sale
|
|
Preparing Your Home: Clean, de-clutter and organize your home before putting it on the market. Visit some of the model homes in new communities. Model your home after the look and condition of those homes. Repairs: Don't spend a lot of money doing expensive upgrades, but use your resources to repair items that need immediate repair. Make sure all of the windows can be opened (not painted shut) and replace any broken windows. Repair any plumbing or electrical items. Your crawl space should be dry. Change HVAC filters. Replace any siding that has holes. Staging: Red Kahleck of the WKRP Team is a certified staging professional. Pricing: Do not select your real estate agent based on the price they give your home. Some real estate agents know the higher the price, the more intriguing they will look to you. See the pitfalls of overpricing on this page. |
